TERMS & CONDITIONS
- All basic charges wil be confirmed in writing
- Quotations will be presented in US$ or in Euros
- We require a 50% deposit on the total daiily rates for hunters & observes to confirm your reservation
- Hunting packages require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation, the balance should be settled 30 days before the safari date
- Any extra trophy fees will be calculated at the end of your safari
- Total fees for any animals killed, wounded or lost will be calculated at the end of your safari
- Payments should be made with credit card or wire transfer
- Trophy fees are subject to change without prior notice
- We undertake all reasonable care and precautions to ensure the safety of our clients, however,
- Tollie's African Safaris will not be held liable for any illness, negligence, accident, loss or damage of person or property and any expenses that may occur
- Personal insurance highly recommended to protect yourself & your property
- Extra days and additional speciec may be added to your hunt at the corresponding daily rates and trophy fees

HELPFULL
HUNTING INFORMATION
We present a variety of game and habitats with a minimum wasted time on driving. No hunting days are lost due to weather.
HUNTING SEASON
Hunting in Africa happens from March through to November. Climate: The months of March to May are our Autumn months with an average daytime temperature of 80°F with cooler evenings.
Although June and July are our Winter months (with daytime temperatures of 65°F) very mild winter conditions are experienced during the day with cooler temperatures (32°F) at night. August to November is the Spring months with climatic conditions very similar to Autumn.
FIREARMS & AMMUNITION
Any rifle from a 270 and upwards will do, but we recommend a 300 Winchester Magnum or similar if you have one. Semi-automatic and automatic firearms are not allowed and will be confiscated by Customs.
Ammunition – 100 rounds of your main caliber rifle. It is recommended that you sight in your rifle to zero at 200 yards.
When you land in RSA (Johannesburg or Cape Town) you will need to acquire a permit for your guns at customs.
This form must be with you at all times and must be turned in at the airport when you leave South Africa.
TOP TIPS
PRACTICE MAKES
PERFECT
Avoid only practising in one position. Get use to different positions to refine your aim and stability. Don’t just shoot of a bench rest. Try improvised rests and shooting sticks too.
Some practice sessions should also be done after strenuous exercise to mimic the conditions of a real hunt. This will increase your skills and help you prepare for various hunting terain you will face.
There is no such thing as too much practice. Keep on improving your skill and endurance with different types of practice sessions.

- Staff gratuities. In the region of $30 per day for trackers, skinners, cooks,

- Tips for your professional Hunter can vary from $90-$150
- Rifle renting at $40, per rifle per day for those who do not have their own
